Getting to Know Trondheim, the Expat Way

Norway's beautiful scenery is famous across the world, and Trondheim is no different. Stunning views such as the Trondheimsfjord (an inlet of the Norwegian Sea) and the Nidelva River run through the city itself. In the colder months, spectacular autumnal and wintery scenes are like pictures from fairy tales. While the main industries center around the waterways (such as fishing or work in the wharfs), other professions that thrive in the city are retail and teaching. In short, Trondheim is the perfect location for those wishing for a peaceful, idyllic existence with familiar faces and quaint surroundings.
