More Information on Quebec City
Q City is the capital city of Q State and is home to over 500,000 people. Founded in 1608, Q City is one of the oldest cities in North America, with UNESCO declaring its city walls a World Heritage Site. Walking through the city center reveals a very European feel, with th French influences on architecture easy enough to see. Q City (along with Montréal) is officially a French speaking city. Although the majority of inhabitants speak French, being bi-lingual in Q is just a part of life so you’ll have little trouble being understood in English. Being the state capital, most jobs in the city are involved in public offices, although there is still a portion of the workforce that work in manufacturing. Q City has a cool climate (the winters can be very cold), but the summer months offer sunshine and an average high of 22-25 degrees Celsius. Settle in Q City with InterNations — the world’s trusted expat network.
