Who Is Your One in Three Million?

Three million people. That’s more than the population of Hawaii, or Jamaica, or Iceland.

That’s how many members InterNations now has in 390 communities around the world.

Three million is amazing and something we want to celebrate! But while the number itself surely sounds impressive, at InterNations it’s not always about how many people you can connect with, but rather the individual relationships themselves.

Sometimes, all it takes is one — the one friend who invited you to join the book club when you knew no one, the one friend who helped you to fill out a rental application and cheered for you when you finally found a great apartment, the one friend who will pick up your kids from school when you’re sick or walks your dog when you’re away! We all have that friend who has made a difference, and we’ll never forget, no matter where in the world we live.

This is what we want to celebrate! Tell us who your “one in three million” InterNations friend is and why they are so special! Did you and this friend share a unique experience or help each other get through a tough time? Take the time to thank them for always being there for you!

By participating, you get the chance to win a 150 EUR hotel voucher. We’d suggest using it for a great mini-vacation with your “one in three million” friend! It doesn’t matter how you met your friend, as long as they’re also an InterNations member!

Contest Details

Here’s what you have to do to enter:

1. shoot your video with vertical orientation;
2. make sure we can both see and hear you clearly;
3. upload your submission to https://wetransfer.com/ during the contest submission period: 06:00 (UTC+1), 16 March 2018, to 09:00 (UTC+2), 12 April 2018;
4. enter [email protected] in the “Email to” section on the page (https://wetransfer.com/);
5. include the following information in the “message” section: your first and last name and your InterNations Community name.

Just remember that to actually be entered into the competition (and eligible for the prize!), you have to submit your video via WeTransfer as well!
