Friday, 8 March marked International Women ’s Day. So, what better occasion for the Munich Just for Girls Group to come together and celebrate? They enjoyed the evening with tasty food inspired by the cuisines of Israel and the Middle East! Guessing from the photos and the lovely roses, it was a memorable evening for all.
On the same special day, the Oslo Women Only Group gathered to commemorate International Women’s Day with an after-work event. Attendees could enjoy meaningful conversations along with the delicious Izakaya-style food at one of Oslo’s best Japanese restaurants.
On 7 March, the London Book Group attended an event at LSE Library to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of The Women’s Library Reading Room. It’s the oldest and largest library in Britain devoted to the history of women’s campaigning and activism — what a great way to honor empowered women of literature!
In Atlanta, celebrations didn’t just last a day: all of March is Women’s History Month. For the occasion, the Joie de Vivre Group attended the Tea & Stories Event, where local female storytellers shared the tales of remarkable women who’d often been overlooked by history.
On 7 March, the Stockholm City Trotters Group got together for a pre-St. Patrick’s Day event at an Irish Pub. Tasty burgers, refreshing beverages, and live music made for a great evening!
