Check out the Events section of our app or website to see if there are any Experience Life Abroad activities happening near you in May! Activities that are a part of the Experience InterNations campaign will have one of the logos below. Or, if it is an InterNations Official Event, there will be the campaign heart logo on the event image! And if you’re an Albatross Member you can also host activities for groups in your community, both as part of the campaign or at any other time. Please note that Consuls may already have plans for their groups. Get in touch with them to make sure your activities don’t overlap, and keep in mind our Activity Guidelines.
Erin McBrayer is a US American expat living in Munich, Germany. Originally from the state of North Carolina, she moved to Germany several years ago and found a new home in Bavaria. Erin is the Social Media Manager at InterNations and an avid traveler, who explores cities one meal at a time.
We are thrilled to announce our new video series: “Expat Tips from a Friend”! Starting a new life abroad can be challenging that. Luckily, here at InterNations, there are many expats just like you with lots of advice to share. Watch the first video and meet our wonderful host Lauren.
To celebrate reaching a major milestone, 3 million members worldwide, the team at InterNations decided to hold a competition to find out about your “one in three million” InterNations friend. See who our winner is and what they have to say about expat life and friendship.
With 420 InterNations Communities worldwide, we know the unique charms each city has to offer. That is why we want to know what makes your city special for you! To celebrate the release of the City Ranking 2020, we are hosting a #GlobalLocalSpot photo contest on Instagram.
From Changchun in China to Tangier in Morocco, InterNations is launching 30 new communities. Just as our existing communities, our new communities offer members the chance to meet fellow expats and global minds, take part in activities and events, and share information, tips, and all things expat on our local forums.
No matter how you spend the holidays abroad, decide to travel, or go home to be with your family, this time of the year can be tough for expats. In a Twitter contest, we asked our members to share their advice on how to make the best of it. Picking the final three was a real challenge!
