Expats working in Belarus will find that few people speak English and so an attempt to learn Russian or Belarusian is essential. Belarus’ main industries include the manufacture of agricultural and energy products and particularly heavy machinery which is the country’s main export. Other sources of employment include trading goods, agriculture, manufacturing sales, and education.
